No. It’s a single $149 USD payment for permanent Pro + Studio access, including future updates. There is no monthly plan.
Core includes 53 shapes, the particle renderer, UI primitives, basic physics, scroll controls, and sequences. It’s MIT licensed and useful on its own. Pro adds the advanced systems and visual tools for coordinating larger interactions.
After purchase, create an install token in your account and add the private registry to your project’s .npmrc. Then run npm install dots-swarm @dots-swarm/pro. The same token works in CI and Vercel builds. Your account walks you through the setup.
No. You can build directly with the React and TypeScript APIs. Studio helps you compose, adjust timing, import SVGs, and export sequences visually; it’s included when you want it.
No. Installed applications don’t make runtime license checks. Your install token is used only when downloading packages. Your deployed site continues to work independently of Studio or your token.
Dots is currently in alpha. The package is installable and the demos use the same APIs you get, but APIs can evolve. Try the free core and the live showcases in your project before deciding.
